Optimizing the Games Marketplace
With our subjective and objective game evaluations and the benefit of catalog and database management, mobile carriers rely on appRELAY to ensure the successful market launch of a mobile application. We offer extensive game, developer, and game category experience.
Subjective Evaluation
We evaluate our subjective selection of applications by carriers and aggregators according to the personal preference of the tester. Analysis support is provided via screen shots and developer write-ups. Through this process, you can assess which games may result in the most positive user experience.
Methodology
Our game evaluation methodology helps predict end user satisfaction. Other benefits include the ability to expedite a large number of applications, as well as catalog and database management. With expanded developer participation the result will be more competition and a more level playing field.
Scoring
We provide a comprehensive breakdown of scoring evaluations and our objective test plan is detailed across multiple sections, extensive test criteria, and various game categories. 70% of the scoring results are the objective rating: quantitative and measurable data from the application. 30% of the scoring results are the subjective rating: a score given to the application by the individual tester.
Objective Testing
Our objective test plan is divided into three sections: game play, functionality and conceptualization. The score is based on 17 different criteria with a total of 157 test cases:
Game Play:
Character movement, controls, weapons, and replay
Functionality:
Screen refresh, graphics, statistics and sound
Conceptualization:
Realism, story line, difficulty, design/background, menus, size, rules, relevance, and immersion
Breadth and Depth
Within the game play, functionality and conceptualization criteria, several procedures are judged against the expected result and are scored as pass, fail, or N/A, giving you the confidence that the application has been rigorously and thoroughly tested. Further, these services are appropriate for action, adventure, sports, role-playing, strategy, shooters, fighting and puzzle game categories.
In the end, NSTL’s results can be counted on as an accurate measurement of end user satisfaction: the customers who ultimately purchase and play these games.
